RETURN OF THE COUNTRY
Our closing night ceremony will take place at the Autry National Center in Griffith Park. We honor those making a difference in the entertainment industry for the Native American community. This year we will honor AFI graduate, filmmaker, and community activist Bob Hicks. More than two decades ago, he wrote, produced and directed the groundbreaking short film Return of the Country. His film turns the world upside down, depicting the Indians as rulers of America
Mr. Hicks will return from his tribal nation in Eastern Oklahoma to discuss the film, his career and how he sees our community’s future. Return of the Country inspired several new young Native American filmmakers to pursue their own dreams in entertainment.
CRAZY IND'N 3
CRAZY IND'N builds his empire. Having reclaimed most of Turtle Island, CRAZY IND'N leads his army to Fort Seminole Rest located in Florida. With one more victory, CRAZY IND'N will remove all non-indigenous interlopers from his beloved homeland and can begin to look east - to Europe - for new military conquest.
